Blooms

Spring is the time of blooms... we have no shortage of cherry blossoms, magnolias and forsythias here.  Normally, it is a time for outdoor activities and visiting parks. Nature continues despite C virus.   We are still able to enjoy these beautiful sights, though limited to drive-by's or neighborhood walks.  I hope as we heal, nature also has this chance to heal.

A Look Back in Time

One of the things I enjoy about Facebook is that they show you memories of previous years.  It always amazes me how quickly time goes by.  I am not a frequent poster to Facebook so I only get these memories every now and then. As an experiment, I am posting photos from 1 year ago today (there were actually no photos taken from 4/15/19).... April 12, 2019 Shopping - we were looking for large planters for our front entrance.  I think we finally found one at HomeGoods. Travel - my parents came to visit us en route to their Italy trip.  They were able to come see Aidan's VIP student award ceremony for the 3rd marking period at his school. April 13, 2019 Concert  - Aidan performed in the CJMEA honors orchestra.

Hello Again

It’s been a while.  Almost 3 years to be exact. I've been away due to complexities of the lack of updates on the blogger mobile app... along with the "un" lack of complexities in daily life! What better time to bring this blog back to life than when I'm sitting here in quarantine. Stay posted..... for more to come! Here is the last family photo that I have from a very different world (it was only 5 months ago).... This is a photo from our Disney trip that we had taken in November 2019.... when we could travel, go to Disney, eat out, stay at a hotel..... a world I cannot imagine today.... and a world that I question will ever be the same.

Violin Camp

Champions!

So we were rained out on Saturday so the make-up championship game was rescheduled to tonight.  Well of course it rained again... but the weather fortunately cleared up and we started with a 20 minute delay.  Sasha was prepared with her raingear though!  Ready to play ball!  Final score.... they won!  23-12 Aidan did pretty well - he had quite a few good at-bats and he also was the middle reliever pitcher.  Champion trophies!  Post ceremony photos :)

Play Ball!

Aidan's Dick's Sporting Goods team won today's playoffs.... so now they are off to the championship game on Saturday!  Let's just hope it doesn't get rained out!
